Spend time with your loved ones, tell people you love them and hug each other. Not just during the holidays, but all year long. Have a most beautiful holiday and see you soon!
Do I eat, sleep and dream weddings? Almost! My husband of 10 years tolerates my creative process and my 8 year old daughter loves my profession as much as I do. There are just so many wonderful things to post! Ideas, photos and of course, stories of my wonderful couples and events. I love vintage, modern, unique and fun weddings so expect the unexpected here.
Really? It's the end of the year already! I'm not going to lie. I'm exhausted, but in the best way possible because we finished our last 2 events of the year for some very special couples. What do I normally do when busy season ends? Clean, because my house is an absolute disaster. So, the next few wonderful weeks will be spent with family, cleaning, working on upcoming weddings and trying to catch up on sleep. I know. Super glamorous, but this year has been oh so worth it. Every bit of it.
Spend time with your loved ones, tell people you love them and hug each other. Not just during the holidays, but all year long. Have a most beautiful holiday and see you soon!
A planners dream is to have days filled with so many gorgeous weddings and creative collaborations that you just don't want to sleep. That would explain why I'm up at 4:30am writing a blog post! We have had an incredible two months and have not been posting as much as we should. We have been meeting the most amazing couples and am really excited about their upcoming weddings! We helped Erica and John celebrate their fun wedding week with guests arriving from around the world. A week full of parties, golf, Epcot, a rehearsal dinner and the most beautiful wedding, pics below! We also helped Devin and Lauren start their life together with a gorgeous mid century modern wedding. Gorgeous! Love mid century! This week we are finalizing plans with 4 very special couples getting married in the next few weeks so stay tuned for details. Soooooo, yesterday we designed a style shoot here in College Park and I was incredibly excited to be collaborating with some of the best vendors in town!! Seriously, so many beautiful images to share soon from Vine and Light Photography! See you soon! xo
OK, have to share a few of Erica and John's wedding day. They are just too gorgeous not to.

We love our clients and spend hours upon hours making sure that everything they have chosen is a perfect fit for their wedding. Nothing makes us happier! Myself and other vendors have noticed a trend among couples wanting to get the most out of their wedding day by giving vendors only one hour to unload and set up every detail of their ceremony and reception. One hour. Yes, this gives you more time for your reception, especially if a venue has a time frame that you have to abide by, but most venues will let you add an hour or two for an additional cost. Giving your vendors only one hour can be done, but you will want to factor in the cost of additional staffing to do so. Your vendors reputations depend on your wedding being set up properly and on time and if you have guests arriving and your band or DJ are still setting up, lighting is being installed, your guest table details are being completed and your ceremony decor is still being unloaded and installed, it sets a bad tone for your arriving guests.. To keep things in check, always factor 2 hours of set up time prior to guest arrival on your big day. Guests normally arrive 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. We know how much time, money and planning you put into your wedding day. We want your day to be magical and memorable for you and your guests! When it comes to your wedding, it's all about the details! Here's to happy planning! xo
Do the thoughts of sending wedding invitations completely stress you to the point of no return? There's no need! In fact, you should be excited! We love invitations as much as your guests love receiving them, so it's no surprise that when we saw these Rifle Paper invitations, we got a little excited. You can now go on Paperless Post and find these fabulous designs by Anna Bond. Choose your ink colors and enter your information! That's it!
Shown: Blue Blooms Rifle Paper Co.
Since we like to keep things local, Rifle Paper is a perfect match for our clients.
Gather your guest list and addresses and let us take care of the rest. We will find the best stamps, address your invitations and send them for you...on time!
If you are planning a destination wedding or have a large number of out of town guests, plan on sending a 'Save The Date' card.
Just. Do. It. If you are planning special events for your wedding, a wedding website is always a great idea. Your guests will thank you and they will be able to spend the year anticipating your fabulous wedding. Don't forget stamps when budgeting your invites. Normally 1-2 stamps per invite and 1 stamp per response card is perfect. If you are looking for specialty stamps that are not available from USPS, they will cost a little more.
Save The Dates: Send 6 months to a year
Wedding Invitations: Send 2-3 months prior to your wedding
Response Date on Invites: 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding day
(since we know some guests never respond on time)
Have fun with your invitations!
Ps. If you order your invites from Minted, you can upload your guest list and addresses and they will print the outer envelopes for you. What, what?!! Yes!

So, Fall is only a few days away and that does not mean much when you live in Florida. We have "seasons" that consist of hot, warm and tolerable with a few hurricanes thrown in.
What have we been doing all Summer you ask? We began our Summer with some incredible weddings. Our next post will feature Jenica and Matt's Tavares wedding and Charlotte and Mike's wedding at Goldeneye in Jamaica. You will want to come back for those!
For the first time ever, we took the Summer off!
It was amazing to spend time with family, travel to England and Scotland (photos below) and
find new inspiration! Coming back into wedding season refreshed is a huge deal.
We do not have any openings left in 2017, are filling up for 2018 and so excited to share such a momentous occasion with our couples. They all understand the true meaning of a wedding,
are focusing on family, are smart and fun!
See you soon!!
We have been busy, busy these last few months celebrating with some pretty special couples!!!

Our first wedding of the year was a dream for us! Lilly and Rob are the coolest, most laid back couple ever and the first time I met Lilly, she had me at kumquats! We coordinated their wedding and designed their florals incorporating kumquats and citrus using beautiful garlands for the ceremony and reception. It was a gorgeous intimate wedding at Casa Feliz in Winter Park. Other than witnessing Lilly and Rob getting married, the best part of the wedding may have been Chuck. Their pup stole the show! Then again, it could have been the nod to Rob, who is from Ireland.
They served Guinness for their toast. Either way, we loved helping them with their special day! Congratulations!!!

It was the perfect wedding to end 2016. The florals by Rachael Kasie Designs were beyond gorgeous, the weather was beautful and celebrate they did!! When it comes to families, they have the best around. Congratulations to our sweet couple!!

And we are not done! We have an amazing wedding on 12/29/16 in New Smyrna for Jessica and Matt! It will be unique with an olde Florida feel. Eeeee!!! It has been a busy year of styled shoots, rehearsal dinners, special events, weddings and just plain fun (between all the hard work)
I know I am posting a lot of photos from this year, but I cant help myself. We love each and every one of them and are incredibly blessed being able to help such sweet, funny, creative couples. In a few words, WE ARE LUCKY! Here comes the gallery!! Woohoo!
Wow, it has been a busy year and we have been having so much fun with our couples! So many events to post before the year comes to an end and we say goodbye to 2016. We will miss it, but have made so many new friends! We REALLY need to have an end of year party every year with all of our couples, just so we can hang out and have a drink! It is offcially on my list for next year!! Expect a lot of posts to come in over the next 2 weeks! Happy Holidays!! Much love!
We had so many special special weddings in April. When I say special, I mean unique and incredible! All of our couples were so different and each wedding was just so brilliant.
Alison and Javier went with a Santa Fe feel for their wedding at Bramble Tree Estate, complete with pottery made by the bride, incredible Spanish guitarist, Luis Alfredo Garcia and chilis flown in from New Mexico.
For me, it doesn't get better than that! Puff N Stuff was the
awesome caterer and take a look at these photos from Rudy&Marta Photography. Gorgeous florals by In Bloom. Makeup by Laura Reynolds. Alison's dress was stunning. Such a gorgeous couple.
What can I say other than their love is true and their modern, travel inspired wedding was amazing! David and Marc were one of our favorite couples to work with and they had so many incredible ideas for their big day last November. How many couples design a step and repeat for their wedding? Brilliant, right? They even had favors for pets! Axel and Chaz, their adorable dachshunds were the inspiration behind the delightful table of treats. Did I mention that I love dachshunds? Photos from their travels around the world were at each place setting and table markers were world airport codes from their travels. Various globes at each table were a unique accent.. We all loved seeing the wonderful images of them in their favorite cities. All details, down to the escort cards were designed by this talented couple. Best part of the wedding? Updating their status to "Married" on Facebook during the ceremony.
Congratulations, David and Marc! Keep laughing and definitely keep traveling!

Off to St. Petersburg Beach in March. If you didn't already know, I LOVE beach weddings!!! Bring on the sun, sand and the best part, the ocean. Lindsey and Joe were one of the funniest couples I have met and it carried through into their wedding. I love this family and what an incredibly fun day it was, complete with crazy photo booth and the shoe game! I used cases of yellow cymbidium orchids for their decor and set up a candy bar complete with macaroons from Tasty Too! Sooooo good!! Angela and her staff from Magic Occasions Catering went above and beyond for this awesome couple! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McGeehan!
We had a chance to do our first event at Noah's Event Center in Lake Mary and loved it! What a great venue and how lucky to be a part of Jessica and Emil's wedding! We have met some of the sweetest couples getting married this year and am so happy that they each have their own distinct style. This is what makes my job thoroughly enjoyable. I see a lot of new venues opening up for our clients! Noah's Event Center in Lake Mary, a beautiful hall with outdoor brick courtyard, Brambletree Estate, a gorgeous home in Sorrento and many more.
We are so very lucky to have a large number of venues in Orlando for our distinct couples.

Catherine Way was the harpist for the ceremony. Congratulations!!!
I was so excited to be asked to help with Brittany and Seth's wedding in Destin, Florida this year. They have always had a connection to the ocean and found the perfect beach for their special day. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for them and as the sun set, it could not have been more perfect. I worked with some amazing vendors in the area...The Venue at Crystal Beach, Autumn with Hello Beautiful Photography, RSVP Rentals supplied the lighting, tables and chairs and amazing bartenders, Megan Davis was our "dance all night" DJ and Tammy from The Eventful Planner gave us a wonderful menu. The best part of the evening were the sweet toasts from their family and friends. Brittany and Seth are definitely loved. All the best to Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins as they travel to Hawaii for their honeymoon!
Yes, I am incredibly lucky to have been able to help two amazing couples this past weekend! Both of them crazy in love and some of the nicest people I have met. Chadia and Richard were married Saturday night at The Crystal Ballroom and chose black magic roses and orchids for their bouquets. I loved doing the ceremony flowers for this event. Beautiful setting and amazing staff. Magic Occasions Catering gave them a wonderful dinner that night and I can't say that I have ever been to a wedding where the guests started dancing immediately! Yes, right after introductions, the dance floor was full. They knew how to have fun!! A long happy marriage to Mr. and Mrs. Gagot! Thank you Kellie from Live Happy Studios for the amazing photos!
Sunday night brought a completely different look for Penny and Julia's rustic, vintage wedding at The Winter Park Farmers' Market. I had SO much fun helping them and happy that they were so involved with making the decor to bring their vision to life. So many meaningful details and it all came together perfectly. I loved doing their flowers using hydrangeas, roses and babies breath. The dessert table was divine and they had so much fun dancing the night away. Congratulations to this amazing couple!
Loving our engaged couples getting married next Summer! They all have such different styles and we are excited about all of them. We are going to create some amazing weddings! Congratulations to Karyn and Jackie, Melissa and Nick, Emilie and Justin!
