Stay inside, be safe and love one another. xo
Being a part of the event industry for 35 years, we have seen a lot of changes, difficult times and natural disasters. We have made it through every hardship that has come our way and continue to look forward to better days, and things WILL get better! When there is love between two people, weddings will still be a part of our lives. They may be smaller, they may be different for a time, but they will still be a part of our lives. We are so thankful to witness this love and it gives us every reason to celebrate our couples and look forward to their wedding day! We want you to know that we are here for you and will give you honest advice for every situation. Let's celebrate the good things in life while we have thoughts of our health care workers, patients who are dealing with covid-19 and all the essential workers who are keeping food on our tables. They are in our hearts at all times. We have to have balance. Our clients give us balance and we love you for it. While we are waiting for things to get better, we will be posting last years weddings to give you inspiration. They definitely inspired us!
Stay inside, be safe and love one another. xo
Ok, this gorgeous couple was nothing short of amazing! Sammie and Jake have it all going on and had the most beautiful wedding day at Bramble Tree Estate! Not going to lie, we had a little rain scare a few days before their wedding, but that rain knew better than to mess with us! The cool weather, the slight breeze that picked up Sammie's veil and the green spaces on this property along with the stunning florals were gorgeous. Their ceremony and reception were perfect and the band was brilliant! It was a very good day! xo

We finished 2018 with a bang and were so thankful to have spent it with Kate and George as well as their incredibly funny family. The weekend started with a beautiful ceremony at George's family home with a sweet reception at Boca in Winter Park. Beautiful florals were created by Porch Therapy. Saturday was the big party to celebrate our fabulous couple! Guests began arriving at The Acre via bus from the hotel so guests could enjoy themselves and were greeted with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and the famous Oyster Bob's! They danced into the evening with the best music ever (80's alternative of course!) So many super talented vendors went into making their weekend amazing. They finished the celebration with a huge brunch for family and friends at Doubletree by Hilton. Take a look at these images so you can swoon over Kate's velvet green perfection!

We can't even begin to tell you how amazing this season has been so far! We are always thrilled to have the sweetest and coolest clients and we have loved every one of them. We are eagerly awaiting photos, but will show you a little sneak peek of Kayla+Cam married at The Acre last weekend. This will give our traditional couples a few great ideas regarding a "timeline".
Kayla and Cam did a first look prior to their ceremony and opted to extend their cocktail hour to have plenty of time for photos AND enjoy their guests. If you do this, make sure food and drink are flowing! No introductions at the start of dinner, just a beautiful heart felt thank you to their family and friends for joining them and first dance after dinner to open up the dance floor. The party started early and our couple and guests were thrilled! I have never seen a dance floor full, right out of the gate. A late night Bananas Foster station was opened and was totally the bee's knees! Best wedding, ever! Take a look at the vendors that made this special day happen.

August and September are always hot in Florida. Truly, Africa hot. (That was my 'Biloxi Blues' reference for the day) Aside from the heat, we do love the last few months of Summer, but it is always somewhat bittersweet as we send our kids back to school. I'm going to miss having my little with me and enjoying long days of doing whatever we please. We are ready and have hit the floor running since we came back from our Summer in the UK.
We visited some amazing venues in Northern England and Edinburgh, Scotland if you have your heart set on getting married in an idyllic location with temperatures in the 60's and 70's during the Summer. Our favorite venue is the gorgeous Falcon Manor. A newly restored Manor House in Settle, England in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It's the perfect destination wedding location for you and your closest family and friends. If you are going to get married in England, June is your month. Settle is a very cool city center with pubs, shoppes and beautiful countryside to take in. Unless you are a resident of the UK, you will want to get your marriage license in the U.S.
We could not be more excited about our upcoming events in Orlando and want to thank our clients for being patient while we were away enjoying much needed time with family. Our last event of the season, before leaving for the UK was in Jamaica at GoldenEye Resort in Oracabessa. Jamaica is incredibly special to us and a home away from home. Can't wait to tell you all about our plans for the Caribbean! If you are looking for a romantic island wedding, not a standard resort wedding, we can lead you in the right direction. So many gorgeous options will be coming your way soon with inspirational styled shoots at our favorite locations! For now, we leave you with images of Scotland and England.
Wishing we had that cool weather in Florida right now!
Almond River in Edinburgh, Scotland where we enjoyed the most magical walks.

As event planners, one of our favorite locations is Jamaica. It is our second home and we love the feeling and vibe of each visit. There are several locations that are perfect and we can help you find the best spot, creating the perfect day for you and your family. May is a great month for weddings in Jamaica, to capture it in all it's beauty. Take advantage of their local flora and fauna while viewing the gorgeous backdrop of mountains and sea. It is a calm, relaxed atmosphere so come prepared to leave the States behind. We respect our clients privacy, but want to share these incredible photos by the Kathy Thomas Photography team. They are stunning!

Because hopefully your fiance or fiancee will not be choosing your gown for you! I was just texting one of our brides a few minutes ago and we were talking about her fabulous cake serving set. No, I don't normally get excited over these and most of our couples have opted to not purchase a set and use ours instead, but I had forgotten about BHLND! If you have not been to their online store, you need to stop what you are doing and go now. Yes, right now. The gowns are incredible and the accessories even better. You will thank me later.
Happy wedding planning! xo

We are such lucky planners! There are just so many beautiful weddings happening!! I can't tell you how many sweet, cool couples we have met over the last month and we will definitely be sharing their stories!! We have had a lot of client meetings, site visits and have shared wedding memories with Leah and Daniel, Lauren and Daniel, Fallon and Bill, Meredith and Jeff and Katie and Rob. There have been a lot of personal moments in between with birthdays, out of town visitors and of course my Mom job. Gotta love 3rd grade testing right now! Don't get me started. Our next event is a destination wedding! Our amazing couple from NYC is heading to Jamaica with 100 of their closest friends and family. Don't we need to get down there a few weeks early? You know, to really take in the local vibe. We wish!
To give you all a heads up, we will be out of the country from June 1 to July 1. Heading to Scotland and Northern England for family time as soon as school is out for Summer. Expect a lot of photos on our Instagram page! Hoping to get a few styled shoots in while we are roaming the gorgeous Highlands! See you soon!
As the sunny days keep coming, so do our wonderful couples. We will be celebrating 3 weddings in the next 2 weeks and so very lucky we are a part of them! Each of our couples will be taking advantage of this perfect Florida weather by having an outdoor ceremony. Tomorrow, we will watch Leah and Daniel get married at Lake Mary Events Center! Joining us will be In Bloom Florist, Puff N Stuff Catering and Misty Miotto Photography. It's going to be epic!
Next Sunday, we have the pleasure of helping Lauren and Daniel alongside the amazing staff at Casa Feliz! One of our favorite venues, so we know it will be gorgeous and quite a special day for them! We are then excited to join Fallon and Bill at Winter Park Farmers' Market on March 3rd! Dishie will be creating some gorgeous table settings for this one! We adore all of our couples and are thrilled!! Is it just me, or are they ridiculously good looking? No, they are. Seriously.
Off to rehearsal now, but will certainly be posting details soon! We haven't even shared our weddings from January!! Slacker.
Really? It's the end of the year already! I'm not going to lie. I'm exhausted, but in the best way possible because we finished our last 2 events of the year for some very special couples. What do I normally do when busy season ends? Clean, because my house is an absolute disaster. So, the next few wonderful weeks will be spent with family, cleaning, working on upcoming weddings and trying to catch up on sleep. I know. Super glamorous, but this year has been oh so worth it. Every bit of it.
Spend time with your loved ones, tell people you love them and hug each other. Not just during the holidays, but all year long. Have a most beautiful holiday and see you soon!
A planners dream is to have days filled with so many gorgeous weddings and creative collaborations that you just don't want to sleep. That would explain why I'm up at 4:30am writing a blog post! We have had an incredible two months and have not been posting as much as we should. We have been meeting the most amazing couples and am really excited about their upcoming weddings! We helped Erica and John celebrate their fun wedding week with guests arriving from around the world. A week full of parties, golf, Epcot, a rehearsal dinner and the most beautiful wedding, pics below! We also helped Devin and Lauren start their life together with a gorgeous mid century modern wedding. Gorgeous! Love mid century! This week we are finalizing plans with 4 very special couples getting married in the next few weeks so stay tuned for details. Soooooo, yesterday we designed a style shoot here in College Park and I was incredibly excited to be collaborating with some of the best vendors in town!! Seriously, so many beautiful images to share soon from Vine and Light Photography! See you soon! xo
OK, have to share a few of Erica and John's wedding day. They are just too gorgeous not to.

We love our clients and spend hours upon hours making sure that everything they have chosen is a perfect fit for their wedding. Nothing makes us happier! Myself and other vendors have noticed a trend among couples wanting to get the most out of their wedding day by giving vendors only one hour to unload and set up every detail of their ceremony and reception. One hour. Yes, this gives you more time for your reception, especially if a venue has a time frame that you have to abide by, but most venues will let you add an hour or two for an additional cost. Giving your vendors only one hour can be done, but you will want to factor in the cost of additional staffing to do so. Your vendors reputations depend on your wedding being set up properly and on time and if you have guests arriving and your band or DJ are still setting up, lighting is being installed, your guest table details are being completed and your ceremony decor is still being unloaded and installed, it sets a bad tone for your arriving guests.. To keep things in check, always factor 2 hours of set up time prior to guest arrival on your big day. Guests normally arrive 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. We know how much time, money and planning you put into your wedding day. We want your day to be magical and memorable for you and your guests! When it comes to your wedding, it's all about the details! Here's to happy planning! xo
Do the thoughts of sending wedding invitations completely stress you to the point of no return? There's no need! In fact, you should be excited! We love invitations as much as your guests love receiving them, so it's no surprise that when we saw these Rifle Paper invitations, we got a little excited. You can now go on Paperless Post and find these fabulous designs by Anna Bond. Choose your ink colors and enter your information! That's it!
Shown: Blue Blooms Rifle Paper Co.
Since we like to keep things local, Rifle Paper is a perfect match for our clients.
Gather your guest list and addresses and let us take care of the rest. We will find the best stamps, address your invitations and send them for you...on time!
If you are planning a destination wedding or have a large number of out of town guests, plan on sending a 'Save The Date' card.
Just. Do. It. If you are planning special events for your wedding, a wedding website is always a great idea. Your guests will thank you and they will be able to spend the year anticipating your fabulous wedding. Don't forget stamps when budgeting your invites. Normally 1-2 stamps per invite and 1 stamp per response card is perfect. If you are looking for specialty stamps that are not available from USPS, they will cost a little more.
Save The Dates: Send 6 months to a year
Wedding Invitations: Send 2-3 months prior to your wedding
Response Date on Invites: 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding day
(since we know some guests never respond on time)
Have fun with your invitations!
Ps. If you order your invites from Minted, you can upload your guest list and addresses and they will print the outer envelopes for you. What, what?!! Yes!
Shown: Royal Elephant Rifle Paper Co.
So, Fall is only a few days away and that does not mean much when you live in Florida. We have "seasons" that consist of hot, warm and tolerable with a few hurricanes thrown in.
What have we been doing all Summer you ask? We began our Summer with some incredible weddings. Our next post will feature Jenica and Matt's Tavares wedding and Charlotte and Mike's wedding at Goldeneye in Jamaica. You will want to come back for those!
For the first time ever, we took the Summer off!
It was amazing to spend time with family, travel to England and Scotland (photos below) and
find new inspiration! Coming back into wedding season refreshed is a huge deal.
We do not have any openings left in 2017, are filling up for 2018 and so excited to share such a momentous occasion with our couples. They all understand the true meaning of a wedding,
are focusing on family, are smart and fun!
See you soon!!
We have been busy, busy these last few months celebrating with some pretty special couples!!!
I can't tell you how many spectacular weddings our couples have had! Lyndsey and I love creating, helping and watching our couples ride off into the sunset!
Sierra and Matt's photos came in from Bobbi Photo and we were awestruck! Gorgeous is an understatement. So much love from everybody on their wedding day and we were thankful to have been a part of their rustic bohemian wedding on the Rainbow River!

Our first wedding of the year was a dream for us! Lilly and Rob are the coolest, most laid back couple ever and the first time I met Lilly, she had me at kumquats! We coordinated their wedding and designed their florals incorporating kumquats and citrus using beautiful garlands for the ceremony and reception. It was a gorgeous intimate wedding at Casa Feliz in Winter Park. Other than witnessing Lilly and Rob getting married, the best part of the wedding may have been Chuck. Their pup stole the show! Then again, it could have been the nod to Rob, who is from Ireland.
They served Guinness for their toast. Either way, we loved helping them with their special day! Congratulations!!!

Oh, how we adore Jessica and Matt Troskey! If we could bottle their attitude, laughter and love, we would be rich! We had so much fun with their wedding in Port Orange on December 29th! It was the perfect wedding to end 2016. The florals by Rachael Kasie Designs were beyond gorgeous, the weather was beautful and celebrate they did!! When it comes to families, they have the best around. Congratulations to our sweet couple!!

And we are not done! We have an amazing wedding on 12/29/16 in New Smyrna for Jessica and Matt! It will be unique with an olde Florida feel. Eeeee!!! It has been a busy year of styled shoots, rehearsal dinners, special events, weddings and just plain fun (between all the hard work)
I know I am posting a lot of photos from this year, but I cant help myself. We love each and every one of them and are incredibly blessed being able to help such sweet, funny, creative couples. In a few words, WE ARE LUCKY! Here comes the gallery!! Woohoo!
Wow, it has been a busy year and we have been having so much fun with our couples! So many events to post before the year comes to an end and we say goodbye to 2016. We will miss it, but have made so many new friends! We REALLY need to have an end of year party every year with all of our couples, just so we can hang out and have a drink! It is offcially on my list for next year!! Expect a lot of posts to come in over the next 2 weeks! Happy Holidays!! Much love!
We had so many special special weddings in April. When I say special, I mean unique and incredible! All of our couples were so different and each wedding was just so brilliant.
Alison and Javier went with a Santa Fe feel for their wedding at Bramble Tree Estate, complete with pottery made by the bride, incredible Spanish guitarist, Luis Alfredo Garcia and chilis flown in from New Mexico.
For me, it doesn't get better than that! Puff N Stuff was the
awesome caterer and take a look at these photos from Rudy&Marta Photography. Gorgeous florals by In Bloom. Makeup by Laura Reynolds. Alison's dress was stunning. Such a gorgeous couple.
What can I say other than their love is true and their modern, travel inspired wedding was amazing! David and Marc were one of our favorite couples to work with and they had so many incredible ideas for their big day last November. How many couples design a step and repeat for their wedding? Brilliant, right? They even had favors for pets! Axel and Chaz, their adorable dachshunds were the inspiration behind the delightful table of treats. Did I mention that I love dachshunds? Photos from their travels around the world were at each place setting and table markers were world airport codes from their travels. Various globes at each table were a unique accent.. We all loved seeing the wonderful images of them in their favorite cities. All details, down to the escort cards were designed by this talented couple. Best part of the wedding? Updating their status to "Married" on Facebook during the ceremony.
Congratulations, David and Marc! Keep laughing and definitely keep traveling!

What do you get when you bring two truly sweet, talented, gorgeous people together? This. This is the magic you get. A beautiful, fun, sentimental wedding with tears, love and joy from all that had the pleasure of joining them on their special day. Ingrid Molliner captured some beautiful moments last October and we are so happy to show you some images from their wedding in Gainesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin and Lauren Brinza went to school in Gainesville before moving to NYC, but always wanted to marry in this beautiful area. They chose the Baughman Center for their ceremony and the reception was held at Haile Plantation. The perfect venues for this perfect couple.

This Summer was absolutely incredible and we were a part of so many special weddings. The rain and heat did not keep us from doing what we love. Bring it Florida! You won't stop our fun!
June, July and August were filled with rustic, romantic, blingy, unique and just plain brilliant weddings. All of the couples we had the pleasure of working with were so sweet, so in love and make us love our profession even more. Enjoy some photos taken by myself as well as some of the most amazing photographers in Orlando...Sierra Ford, Jeannie Albers, FioJo Props and Photos by Heart Photography!
I am a wife, mother, wedding planner, floral designer, artist and a lover of all things modern and vintage. I'm a bit on the unconventional side and my life is filled with all things wonderful.
